At about 6:30 this morning, I woke up to Ayden hollering. This is somewhat normal character, as I'm slow to move out of the bed. But this morning was an especially high-pitched holler when his normal mornings are more even-toned as if saying, "HEY! get your butt up, MOM!" Naturally, the raise of pitch had me jumping out of bed quicker than usual...only to find Ayden has discovered his diaper! And the removal of it! I always wondered when the time would come when I would find him this way, and to my dismay, it came a bit sooner than I hoped. Well, basically Ayden's usual nighttime bath was pushed to a 7AM soaking and scrubbing all while I found myself throwing sheets and bumper in the wash and disinfecting the entire crib. Ayden was quite the artist...if you catch my drift.
Ew.
And THIS is called motherhood....
"I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121

Fauntleroy

My good friend Jasmin gave me a huge box of hand-me-downs that were Toby's. As I was rummaging through, I came across this sailor outfit that was still with the tags. So this morning for church, I decided to see if how it fit on Ayden. He must have thought he looked as cute as everyone made him out to look because he was giving me some great poses. The last one is him standing in the kitchen sink, watching "pop pops" (grandpa) grill. Too funny.

Playground.
Ayden loves to go. Anywhere. Yesterday we went a whole 2 miles to the north pool...er, the condos...er, opposed to the south pool...that is, in the "house" portion of South River Colony. Katrina was working as gate guard (no worries, grandmother, this means she takes pool passes...) and was finished with her shift. I decided to come a few minutes early and check out the playground. Ayden decided he LOVED the swing.
