Forget that idea.

So my earlier comment was about me going to find Ayden a coat that fit a little better. Um yeah, that coat he is wearing in the pictures below is 24 months and every coat that we tried on tonight that was 18 months was too small!! I can't believe it...my 14 month old baby boy is wearing 24 month clothing. Sheesh, his growing wears me out!

:)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Yesterday we had our first snow! Not only was it beautiful but also exciting! I wanted Ayden to get a feel for what it was like (he doesn't remember last year-he was only 3 months old!) and see how he would react to it. These pictures completely capture the moment because I couldn't get a smile out of the boy. He put on his curiousity/exploring face and slowly walked around then decided he was done. Course, it probably didn't help that he couldn't even move because I put on the snow suit that is too big, to say the least! Hand-me-downs are such a blessing but I think I may have to take a trip out and find something that fits better so he doesn't look and feel like sumo baby. haha!

Hayride.

Tonight was Grace EP's annual hayride/bonfire. This year was much more fascinating for Ayden than last (as he was only one month old!)...he especially loved diving into the cornbread! "ummm" as he says while pointing.

Working on those pointing skills.

Getting love from grandma.

"alright, enough already. this is hot in here!"

Trick-or-treating on the flyer.

Pooped out, but happy about the sucker.

My FAVORITES

Daddy comes to visit!

Our Children's Place poster boy.

Checking out the snake at the DC National Zoo.

We had a fabulous time! We went on a cloudy day that apparently scared the rest of the people away, giving us a private tour of the zoo!

baby panda.

cuteness.

The next day brought lots and lots of rain...

...so we ventured to Chuck E Cheese.

Spending more time away from the rain at the petstore.

Then (Great, to Ayden) Grandpa and Grammie AND cousin KATIE Kruenegel came for a visit!

Out to dinner with pop pops and the rest of the clan.

Erich, mom, cousin Katie

Sassy gals and a series of great shots.

Stealing mom's glasses, as usual.
